Editorial Design / Concept

This project gave me the opportunity to know more about music and to develop the layout and concept of the book that gathers André Carvalho's fantastic compositions. An excellent musician with a peculiar journey and a work that I greatly admire.

This image was created using a watercolor effect, that as such as music, represents spontaneity and instants, in which a piece made in a moment will never be the same as other.And the artist is the vehicle that will leave its mark at every moment / performance.

In several moments of the book, it is visible the image of a landscape by layers. This composition intends to represent the construction of a work that was built during several years and reinforces the organic movement common in nature and music. The overlap of mountains also makes the connection between different tones, that overlapped make up a musical composition.
